SUPER FALCONS TO QUALIFY BY SHARE STRUGGLE - COACH UCHE

Former coach of the Nigeria women national football team Eucharia Uche has lamented the Falcon’s current situation at the ongoing FIFA women’s world cup where the team has to wait and continue to hope that results elsewhere will be favourable to their qualification quest.
Uche speaking in a chat with www.brila.net said the team should by now have gone through significant improvement and not one at the mercy of the competition format. She added that the coach should also have been bold enough to hand opportunities to younger players in the team who would be hungrier and raring to go.
“It is still unfortunate that we are still struggling to qualify because the Korea we beat is the same Korea beaten by every other team in the group. We haven’t shown any obvious sign of improvement which I expect to see in the team. I wish them well to qualify all the same but coaches should give opportunities to younger players who are hungrier in the team.”
Nigeria’s Super Falcons will know her fate after the completion of group stage matches but currently still in the mix with three groups completed already out of the 6 groups.
