WHAT WILFRED NDIDI'S PERFORMANCES IN EGYPT COULD MEAN FOR LEICESTER CITY

Leicester City’s Wilfred Ndidi has been earning rave reviews for his displays for Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations.
Ndidi was named man of the match in the first game against Burundi and he was again in fine form on Wednesday as the Super Eagles sealed their place in the knock-out rounds with another 1-0 win over Guinea.
Nigeria are now one of the favourites to go all the way to the final, which will be played on July 19 in Cairo, meaning Ndidi could miss nearly all of City’s pre-season preparations.
City are due back for pre-season testing on Monday, July 1, when those players who have not been involved in international games since the end of last season will return.
